it aint the same
every single day people seem to change
and I wonder when it all went wrong
Everyday is a struggle
and yet I make it thru
and I never glorify myself
cause to Him the glory is due
but when I look around
i get discouraged
when did sex and babies
come before marriage?
when did we stop caring
this sin fill life that [...]

the numbers say it all March 22, 2007

mothers cry
as their sons die
and a nation laughs out loud
another soldier dies
but we’ve become so desensitized
that we dont care anymore
after four years
of blood being shed
we stand
and only a select few
are really bothered by
the ten o’clock news
of another life taken away
we flick thru channels
and ignore the numbers
because we no longer care
that our country
is losing a battle

men who stand for what they believe
and speak up for those who have lost a voice
it’s men like him
who take time out
to give of himself
even after he feels like he has nothing else to give
it’s men like him
that make me believe
that the generation to come
is not totally lost
