days are now long gone
years have invaded our space
tears that you once cried
have left stains on your face
and i am forced to think about time we’ve missed
through years of battles
and emotional wars
through fights and quarrels
and smiles
that accentuate a few good memories
here we are
life has matured us
and taught us how to forgive one another
i said somethings that hurt you
and you did some things
that got to me
and silence has somehow
managed to bring us together
face to face
we meet again
once more, we’re back to being friends
[dedicated to an old friend that has managed to find her way back into my lil circle. Through everything we have been through, I guess there's still that love and genuine care that never really left.
